Well I went on at 9:30am and I was able to snag both a Cobra and GI Joe print! They look really cool and I will be framing them and hanging them in my new GI Joe man cave that is under construction! Just an FYI, both the Cobra and Joe prints are still available at this time. However, the Transformers prints are sold out.
I’ve just started unwrapping another box. Here are the first two things I have unwrapped!
Wow, just opened up the first box! I’m speechless. Everything is complete an in mint condition! The guy I bought everything from really took care of this stuff. It is not organized by year, so there is a a good mix of years here.
Well I didn’t find anything too interesting at the swap meet. I found several Sigma Six Joes, but I don’t have any and don’t want to start buying any. The only Joe item I found was a 1989 Heat Viper with a broken right hand. I picked him up for 50 cents.
So I am off to a local swap meet to see what gems I can find. I post up anything I grab later. In addition, I’m finally going to start going through some of the 30 boxes that this collection came in. I’ll also post pictures of those items as well.
Here are pictures of my Argen 7 figures. First off, the mortal card back is a reproduction. Second, you will see two mortals and two topsons. I have the mortals with and without the cobra insignia. I think there are only 4 or 5 mortals that have symbols like mine. With the Topsons, there is a paint variation in the v-neck one with and one without the black plaint.
I am very proud of these figures, I bought them for myself as both a birthday present and for passing the CA bar and getting a job. All are complete minus topsons phone and manlehs chute (but I’m working on that). Enjoy!

The 372- piece building set allows you to build the base and two COBRA vehicles, the TROUBLE BUBBLE and FANG, as well as a G.I. JOE RAM CYCLE. The base includes a command center for interior play, rotating flick-fire missiles and an opening jail cell. Also includes five KREON figures — CONRAD “DUKE” HAUSER, ROADBLOCK, COBRA COMMANDER and two COBRA TROOPERS, each with unique weapons and accessories!
So two Korean issued figures just ended on eBay. I wasn’t the winning bidder on either, the prices went crazy. Up for auction was a straight arm Rock N Roll and a straight arm Cobra Solider. They went for $313 and $712 respectively.
The price was too high in my mind, especially considering that some people in the community think they actually may be bootleg cardbacks. It has not been determined what legitimate factory the figures were produced at. In addition, the quality control on the cardbacks is also lacking. First, the entire card has artwork, rather than a space for the bubble. Second, the placement of the figures on the bubble is inconsistent and covers up different parts of the art. Third, the figures themselves seem to have no differences from the US releases (however, this is the case with some Takara figures so it isn’t definitive.)
Regardless of their authenticity, they are awesome figures on the card that I wish I could have won. I just wasn’t ready to shell out that much cash on one of them.
